"Feed My Lambs" John 21:15
In the Gospel of John, Jesus appears to the disciples by the Sea of Galilee and asks Simon Peter, “‘Simon, ‘son of John,’ do you love me more than these?’ He said to him, ‘Yes Lord: you know that I love you.’ He said to Him, ‘Feed my lambs”‘ (John 21:15).
We believe that the vulnerable children of the northern Kenya are Jesus’ lambs. The prayer of KCEP is that the love of Christ will be brought to the children of Kenya through our school, Tumaini Academy, so they become future Christian leaders in their communities. “Tumaini” means “hope” in Kiswahili, and this school has become the “hope” of the people living in Sololo so that one day they may “feed” others.
By taking care of these children, you are following Jesus’ call of love to take care of His lambs.
